Our dining room window faces east. Toward the sunrise. Each morning, we sit down with a cup of coffee and talk about the plans for the day. This space is to help you share in that experience.
Here at the Sunrise Farm Project, we will share our sunrises as well as our adventures in farming. From apple trees to our chicken coop and vegetable garden, this project is a learning experience.
We don’t pretend to have all the answers. Sometimes we build wrong, the pigs get out of their pen, or the chickens die mysteriously. Other times, we get a crazy crop of peas and we’re not sure how it happened. And still other times, life is peaceful and quiet until it gets suspicious.
Each new dawn is a different experience. As we learn and grow, we share both our successes and our failures. We are delighted to have you along for the journey.
